• About Me

  I am a documentary film director and am passionate about telling great stories, especially ones that build empathy and bring you into a totally different world than your own.  I am also passionate about more women gaining more of a real and powerful space in the filmmaking ecosystem, at every level, from directing to producing to filming to - everything!

  
  

  I just finished a feature film about one of the last cultural taboos - death - explored through the eyes of someone who grew up in a funeral home and decided not to take over his family business.  It's called Death in the Family and played internationally on Al Jazeera English.
