About Me
As a filmmaker who culturally identifies with multiple geographic borders, I have always been interested in how our concepts of home and place are constructed. Although my family roots are in Argentina, I spent most of my childhood living in various countries such as Brazil, Israel and the United States. With a family history marked by displacement and migration, I am particularly interested in telling stories that meditate on the meaning of home or refuge in the context of immigration, political turmoil and displacement.
For more than a decade now, I have made Philadelphia my home. After completing my graduate studies at Temple University, I began my journey as both a filmmaker and educator. I am currently an Assistant Professor at Muhlenberg College where I teach production in the Film Studies department.
