About Me
Jonna is an artist and producer whose work spans photography,
film, and journalism. She recently received the Lewis Hine
Fellowship from the Center for Documentary Studies —
through that fellowship she is producing a participatory
photography and oral history project that is being published
as a book of photography by Rutgers University Press.
She is also producing All Light, Everywhere, directed by Theo
Anthony, which will premiere in the U.S. Documentary
Competition at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. The film
examines the complexity of an objective point of view, probing
the biases inherent in both human perception and
surveillance technologies. She previously worked as a for WNYC Studios, where she won a 2020 national Edward R. Murrow Award for a collaborative story with WNYC and as a reporter for WYPR in
Baltimore.
